On September 25, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee had a working session with departments, branches and project management boards to develop a medium-term public investment plan for the period 2026-2030.
The Department of Finance said that the total estimated medium-term public investment plan for the 2026-2030 period (excluding the National Target Programs) is 135,138 billion VND.

Experts say that the Department of Finance needs to specifically identify priority capital groups. Then there are groups of newly opened projects that need to prioritize public investment.
The Department of Finance needs to review how the plans are, whether there are problems or not, whether there are impacts, whether they can be resolved or not to effectively allocate capital.
Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - Vo Ngoc Hiep emphasized that priority should be given to allocating capital for transitional projects of the 2021-2025 medium-term public investment plan. The works and projects are key projects of the coming term and ensure the capital allocation ratio for priority areas.

Especially in the Da Lat area, it is necessary to pay attention to investing in urban beautification, traffic, drainage systems, and local flood prevention.
At the same time, allocate capital for the fields of science and technology and digital transformation in the coming period.
Recently, heavy rain has caused many wards in the Da Lat area to be deeply submerged in water many times. Water overflowed into people's houses along the roads and rose, causing flooding.
