On June 12, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee decided to reclaim 5.5 hectares of forestry land leased to Quan Ngoc Company Limited in Ha Lam commune (Da Huoai district). The reason for the revocation is the termination of the company's investment project.
The above area was leased by Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee to the company under Decision 2765 dated November 4, 2009.
This land belongs to Sub-area 590 (Ha Lam Commune, Da Huoai District). This is a land leased by the State for a term, but not extended for land use as prescribed in Article 82 of the 2024 Land Law.
The project of Quan Ngoc Company Limited has terminated investment activities according to Decision No. 80 dated April 24, 2025 of the Department of Finance of Lam Dong province.
According to regulations, the State does not compensate for the value of the land and assets attached to the land for the recovery of the above land area. The company is responsible for complying with the land recovery decision, handing over land and documents on land use rights to the competent authority and person as prescribed. At the same time, the company must fulfill its outstanding financial obligations and arising financial obligations (if any).
The Nam Huoai Protective Forest Management Board is responsible for receiving and strictly managing the above land area, preventing land encroachment and occupation of the land area assigned for management.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Da Huoai district to inspect when Quan Ngoc Company did not comply with the decision to reclaim land, then organize enforcement.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize the handover of land on site for the recovered land area to the Nam Huoai Protective Forest Management Board for management.
