The People's Council of Lang Son province has just issued Resolution No. 14/2025/NQ-HDND, regulating the spending level and spending content for organizing competitions in the fields of culture, sports and tourism in the province.
According to the resolution, the highest prize at provincial competitions is 25 million VND, applied to first prizes in fields such as music composition, sculpture, and performing arts. Other awards range from 20 million VND to 2 million VND, depending on the type and ranking.
Specifically, art contests such as painting and design will have a first prize of 20 million VND; photography contests and short video composition contests will also receive a maximum prize of 20 million VND. For mass art competitions, the highest collective prize is 12 million VND, the individual prize is 5 million VND. In the traditional sports field, the flat racing has the highest prize of 8 million VND.
Details of the prize level for provincial-level cultural and sports competitions:



For commune-level competitions, the maximum expenditure does not exceed 60% of the provincial expenditure, depending on the actual conditions of each locality.
In addition to awards, the resolution also details the compensation level for organizers, art councils, judges, secretaries... at provincial-level competitions. The highest is 500,000 VND/person/session, the lowest is 150,000 VND/person/session.
The funding source for organizing the contests is taken from the state budget according to decentralization or from socialized sources, legal funding. In case there is additional mobilization cost, the organizing unit can spend additional money beyond the prescribed level.
The Provincial People's Committee is assigned to implement the resolution and report the implementation results to the Provincial People's Council. The agencies of the Provincial People's Council are responsible for supervising the implementation.
