On New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026, Hanoi City will organize a large-scale fireworks display with 33 launch points, corresponding to 34 battlefields throughout the city. This activity contributes to creating an impression for the moment of transition from the old year to the new year, serving people and tourists.
According to the plan, the Capital will arrange 11 high-altitude fireworks display sites combined with low-altitude and fireworks displays, and at the same time deploy 23 more low-altitude fireworks display points in districts, towns, and cities.
Each high-altitude firing point is expected to use about 700 firecrackers along with 60 low-altitude firecrackers and 30 fireworks and flower sprayers. For low-altitude firing points, each area will install 120 firecrackers, ensuring uniformity in organizational scale.
The fireworks display program is expected to take place in 15 minutes, from 0:00 to 0:15 on February 17 (the 1st day of Tet).
