The locality will hold the countdown program to welcome the new year 2025 in Phong Nha town, Bo Trach district, from 8:00 p.m. on December 31, 2024 to 2:00 a.m. on January 1, 2025.
The province will organize traditional art performances, lion dances at fixed times during the day to serve tourists, street art performances, and dance groups. Along with that, food stalls will be arranged at businesses along the central route of Phong Nha to serve tourists.
This year, Quang Binh province is expected to organize a low-altitude fireworks display at two locations: Phong Nha Town and Bao Ninh 1 urban area, on New Year's Eve.
In early 2025, the locality will welcome the first group of tourists at Dong Hoi Airport and Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
