Some regulations on environmental protection are still problematic

Although it has been implemented for nearly 2 years, some environmental regulations still have certain problems, causing difficulties and confusion.

On the afternoon of November 14, the Department of Industrial Safety and Environment Techniques (Ministry of Industry and Trade) in collaboration with the Industry and Environment Association and the Industry and Environment Magazine organized a conference to disseminate, guide and share the strengthening of the implementation of new regulations and policies on environmental protection and circular economy for businesses in the industry and trade sector in the South Central region.

This is an activity to raise legal awareness and capacity to implement new regulations on environmental protection for units in the industry and trade sector. This is also an opportunity for units and enterprises to exchange, discuss and share good experiences in implementing environmental protection policies of the industry and trade sector to perfect the legal system on environmental protection.

At the conference, the Department of Industrial Environmental Safety Techniques (Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that, up to now, although it has been implemented for nearly 2 years, some regulations on environmental impact assessment, environmental licenses, environmental registration, greenhouse gas inventory, waste management, environmental monitoring, environmental incident response... still have certain problems, causing difficulties and confusion in the process of practical application.

"This conference is an opportunity for delegates to exchange, discuss and share practical experiences in management, as well as difficulties and obstacles in the implementation process. From there, the Department of Industrial Environmental Safety Techniques will synthesize and recommend competent authorities to amend and supplement legal regulations to suit reality," said a representative of the Department of Industrial Environmental Safety Techniques.
