On November 3, a clip was circulated on social media recording a group of people storming into a coffee shop on Man Thien Street, Hiep Phu Ward, Thu Duc City, and beating up a teenager.
Through verification, the above incident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. on November 2. At that time, a group of about 5 teenagers went to a coffee shop on Man Thien Street. They pushed the door open and rushed into the shop, continuously punching and kicking a teenager who was cleaning the table in the stomach and head.
The victim could only hold his head and endure the beating. He then repeatedly apologized, but was still hit hard on the head with a helmet. Not stopping there, a young man in the group continued to run into the coffee shop, grabbed a knife and chased the teenager.
Currently, the police of Hiep Phu ward, Thu Duc city have taken charge of the above case. Initially, the teenager named H.C.V. (15 years old) is identified as a 10th grade student at a Vocational Education - Continuing Education Center in Thu Duc city. V. is working as a waiter at the above mentioned coffee shop.
On November 2, V. sent a birthday message to a female classmate who was the girlfriend of a young man in the group. Then the above incident happened.
