On January 1, Hoa Binh Provincial Police informed that the unit had just held a conference to summarize the police work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025.
According to published data, in 2024, Hoa Binh Police investigated and solved 693/734 criminal cases, reaching a rate of 94.4%, clarifying 1,277 subjects; solved 82/86 very serious and especially serious cases, reaching a rate of 95.3%.
In addition, the police force discovered 315/354 cases of social order crimes, reaching a rate of 89%; prosecuted 3 cases, 7 defendants for crimes related to information technology and telecommunications networks; discovered and prosecuted 68 cases, 124 subjects for crimes in the fields of economics, corruption, and environment; and destroyed 306 cases, 433 subjects for drug crimes.
Regarding the work of receiving and handling criminal information sources, it was carried out seriously and in accordance with regulations, the reception rate reached 100%, the resolution rate reached 90.26%. The work of ensuring traffic order and safety: Administrative violations were punished in 26,640 cases with a total fine of 70.3 billion VND.
Regarding administrative reform, the Ministry of Public Security continued to rank highly, receiving and resolving on the Ministry of Public Security's Public Service Portal 276,346/277/560 administrative procedure settlement records, reaching a rate of 99.6%.
Previously, the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity of Hoa Binh province said that in 2024, the work of preventing, detecting and handling corruption and negativity will have clear and positive changes.
Last year, the province conducted 213 inspections, completing 189 of them.
Through the inspection, economic violations of 57 billion VND were discovered, the decision was made to recover and pay to the state budget 9.8 billion VND, and handle other matters 47.7 billion VND; request to review the responsibilities of 256 groups and 113 individuals with violations; issue and propose competent authorities to issue 156 decisions on administrative sanctions with a total amount of 10.455 billion VND.
Along with that, the investigation agencies at all levels of the Provincial Police have investigated 36 cases, 77 defendants related to corruption and negativity, of which, 20 new cases, 63 defendants were prosecuted, including 57 defendants who are party members.
