On the afternoon of March 26, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CNCH), Quang Tri Provincial Police confirmed that the body of a drowning student had just been found.
Previously, at around 2:44 p.m. the same day, the unit received information about a person suspected of drowning at the Hieu River salinity barrier dam (ward 1, ward 3, Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province), so they sent forces and vehicles to the scene.
Nearly 1 hour later, the rescue team found the victim, H.C.T (born in 2015, residing in Quarter 2, Ward 1, Dong Ha City, a 4th grade student at a primary school in Dong Ha City).
It is known that before that, T went with his friend to the dam area to prevent salinity and play, but unfortunately had a tragic accident.
Currently, the victim's body has been handed over to his family.
