Lam Dong - A group of 3 teenagers were planning to steal motorbikes from students in Da Lat when they were discovered and promptly prevented by the police.

On the afternoon of March 11, Lam Vien Ward Police - Da Lat (Lam Dong) said that the unit had just discovered and promptly prevented a group of 3 teenagers aged 13 to 17 who were preparing to commit motorbike theft from students.

The teenagers involved in the incident include N.V.V (17 years old), D.T. A. T (14 years old, born in 2011) and N.M. P (13 years old), all residing in Lam Vien ward - Da Lat.

Previously, through patrols, inspections and grasping the situation in the area, Lam Vien Ward Police - Da Lat discovered 3 teenagers with many suspicious signs, so they proceeded to monitor.

When all 3 moved to the Lu Gia street area (behind Chi Lang Secondary & High School), the subjects went into an alley to find loopholes to commit theft.

Here, N.M. P connected electric wires to steal a student's motorbike. After that, all 3 continued to find ways to take another electric motorbike.

When the subjects were moving their vehicles away from the scene, they were discovered and inspected by the ward police task force.

During the inspection, N.V.V was detained on the spot, while D.T. A. T and N.M. P fled. Immediately after that, the police force proceeded to verify, investigate and arrest the related subjects.

At the police station, the teenagers confessed to all acts of property theft. The case is currently being further investigated and clarified for handling according to regulations.

Lam Vien Ward Police - Da Lat recommends that people, especially students, need to raise awareness of vigilance and proactively protect their property.

When parking in schools, residential areas or public places, it is necessary to lock the handlebars and lock them more carefully; and you can also equip the vehicle with anti-theft locks or positioning devices.
