In recent days, the temperature in the mountainous districts of Nghe An has dropped, especially in Ky Son district, where there has been severe cold, with temperatures ranging from 11-13 degrees Celsius, accompanied by frost and ice.
The People's Committee of Ky Son district has issued an official dispatch on proactively preventing hunger and cold for livestock, recommending that people bring buffaloes and cows to barns to protect them from the wind, burn firewood to keep warm and supplement food for buffaloes and cows to avoid damage due to the weather.
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document on strengthening the prevention of hunger, cold and disease in livestock before, during and after the Lunar New Year.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee requested to strengthen direction and guidance on the work of preventing hunger and cold for livestock; regularly update, inform and warn of severe cold spells so that people know and proactively prevent them.
