In the past month, the political security situation and social order and safety in Nghe An have been basically stable. The armed forces at all levels strictly maintain combat readiness, proactively coordinate to grasp the situation, promptly advise and handle arising incidents, and avoid hot spots of security and order.
The authorities have organized many campaigns, synchronously deploying professional measures, focusing on preventing, fighting, searching and strictly handling crimes and social evils.
Specifically, during the month, the authorities discovered and handled 7 cases and 9 subjects related to illegal transportation, storage and trading of drugs. The seized evidence included 115 synthetic drug pills and 3 grams of heroin. Compared to last month, the number of cases and subjects decreased sharply.
The area of economic and environmental management order is also tightened. 26 cases and 30 violators have been detected and handled, mainly related to goods of unknown origin, trade fraud, and illegal mineral exploitation. The authorities seized 2 quintals of animal products, 2,000m2 of soil, sand, gravel, 20 tons of stone and 500 goods worth more than 1 billion VND.
Notably, anti-corruption work has had positive changes. The investigation agency has prosecuted 4 cases and 8 subjects for corruption. At the same time, it discovered and handled a case of fraud to appropriate property in cyberspace.
gambling and illegal use of drugs continue to be fiercely combated. During the month, 7 gambling cases with 55 subjects were handled, 725 million VND in cash was seized; 26 cases, 27 subjects were handled for illegal drug use.
Along with that, the work of enforcing civil judgments, preventing smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, poor quality goods and food hygiene and safety continues to be promoted. Fire prevention, fighting, search and rescue measures were also implemented promptly and effectively.
Internal affairs agencies in the province have actively implemented the 2025 work program, continuing to improve the organization and arrangement of the apparatus according to the Party's policies, contributing to maintaining stability and socio-economic development in the area.
