Fisherman with stroke in Truong Sa receives timely emergency care

On October 25, Sinh Ton Island Infirmary, Brigade 146, Navy Region 4 received and treated a fisherman from Binh Dinh who suffered a stroke while fishing in Truong Sa.

On the morning of October 24, while fishing in the northern area of ​​Truong Sa archipelago, Mr. Vo That (born in 1970, residing in Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh province) experienced severe headache, weakness in both lower limbs, collapse, urinary incontinence, and slurred speech.

The patient was taken to Sinh Ton Island Infirmary for emergency treatment by Ship BD 96124 TS, captained by Mr. Vo Anh Tay (born in 1997, residing in Binh Dinh) the next day.

According to the doctors' diagnosis, the patient suffered a stroke on the second day, with high blood pressure. The patient is currently being closely monitored, given oxygen, blood pressure control, anticoagulants, nerve tonics, and anti-cerebral edema drugs. The medical team is ready to consult when necessary.
