In order to prevent and stop violations of the law related to weapons, explosives, support tools and fireworks, in recent times, the Minh Hoa Commune Police (Minh Hoa District, Quang Binh Province) has deployed many effective propaganda measures to each village, hamlet and household.
Through mobilization work, many people voluntarily went to the commune police headquarters to hand over dangerous items that they still kept in their families or discovered during their daily activities and work.
Notably, recently, Ms. C.T.L.H (born in 1982, residing in Minh Hoa commune) voluntarily handed over a bomb after picking it up while going to the forest in the Mekong Delta. The case has been received and handled safely according to the process.
According to Minh Hoa Commune Police, people's proactive coordination with functional forces not only contributes to maintaining security and order, but also helps prevent possible safety risks in the community.
In the coming time, the Commune Police force will continue to step up propaganda, and at the same time call on people to quickly notify or voluntarily hand over to local authorities when discovering weapons, explosives, support tools or fireworks.
The police also recommend that all acts of illegally storing and using the above items violate the law and will be strictly handled according to regulations.
