On September 23, Binh Hoa Commune Police (Tay Ninh Province) coordinated with relevant agencies to conduct a crime scene investigation and investigate the cause of death of Mr. N.V.B. (born in 1985, from Dong Thap) in a house in Binh Dong hamlet.
According to initial information, at around 11pm on September 22, Mr. D.V.P. (born in 1970) - the owner of the house mentioned above - was sleeping when he heard his daughter, Ms. D.T.D.M. (born in 1994). When he ran to the field, he discovered Mr. B. was burning fiercely in the porch overhang, near Ms. M's room door.
Mr. P. immediately broke the door to get his daughter out safely and called for help. neighbors quickly arrived and used many items to put out the fire. However, when the fire was controlled, the victim died and his body burned black. The incident was then reported to the police.
Binh Hoa Commune Police and functional forces blocked off the scene and organized an investigation. According to initial records, Mr. B. earned a living by selling watermelon and was often present in the locality. During this time, he did not stay at Mr. P.'s house.
From the traces of the scene, the investigation agency determined that Mr. B. most likely brought gasoline into Mr. P.'s yard and then lit a fire to self-immolate. The cause of the above action is still being clarified.
