On May 13, the Vietnam Association for Children with Disabilities organized a special exchange program " sounds from the heart" with the participation of musician Nguyen Van Chung - author of a series of famous songs such as "Mother's Diary", "Chang the story of peace"... At the event, he was officially announced as the first Music Ambassador of the Xuong Rong Hoa Ambassador Club.
After the song "Continuing to write a Story of Peace" became popular during the April 30 holiday, musician Nguyen Van Chung decided to spend all of his digital music revenue in April to thank the veterans of Ho Chi Minh City.
Sharing when taking on the new role, musician Nguyen Van Chung emotionally said: I do not consider this just an honor but a real responsibility. I hope music will be a bridge to bridge the gap, so that they can feel all the good values in life".
The program "A sound from the heart" has the participation of many disabled children, including deaf, blind, cerebral palsy and autistic children. They performed the performances with clear voices, sign language and eyes - the "sounds" that were speechless but made the listeners silent because of emotion. They also have special affection for musician Nguyen Van Chung - the artist they consider a friend, a companion.
As a music ambassador, musician Nguyen Van Chung is committed to long-term support with the Fund in community art activities. He said he will compose new songs specifically for disadvantaged children and connect with many other artists to spread a humane message.
Ms. Duong Thi Bich Diep - Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Fund for Children with Disabilities shared that the Xuong Rong Flowers Ambassador Club is a network connecting inspiring faces - those who know how to listen and share with children in special circumstances.
