On June 27, Nha Trang City Urban Environment Joint Stock Company confirmed that it had sent a criminal complaint to the Investigation Police Agency of Khanh Hoa Province for the act of appropriating property of an employee of this company.
That is the case of Mr. Tran Trong Liem - an employee of the toll collection team of the Environmental Enterprise.
In 2024, Mr. Tran Trong Liem appropriated the money collected for cleaning and waste treatment fees from many individuals and organizations, and did not return it to the company. The total amount of money appropriated was nearly 15 million VND.
After receiving a criminal complaint against Mr. Tran Trong Liem's behavior, in May 2025, the Investigation Police Agency of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police issued a decision to prosecute the criminal case for the crime of "Embezzlement of property".
