Recently, the situation of illegal dumping of soap and household waste has become a burning issue in many areas in Da Nang City.

On crowded streets such as Ton That Dam, Tran Cao Van, ... or vacant areas, it is not difficult to see piles of crushed bricks, concrete, and all kinds of household waste piled up, giving off a foul smell.

These spontaneous garbage collection points not only cause loss of urban beauty but also pose a serious risk of environmental pollution.
Ms. Tran Ngoc Chau (residing in Thanh Khe ward, Da Nang city) said that for about 3 - 4 months now, in front of Thuan An 2 residential area on Ton That Dam street, a large pile of garbage has appeared, increasingly high, giving off a strong stench.
According to Ms. Chau, every dawn, people secretly bring household waste, even construction soap to dump right in the middle of the path, despite this being an area where many households live and travel.
"Every night, around 3 - 4 am, they carry garbage and soap to steal. I have spoken out to remind but have been warned and threatened. The wind blows, the stench flies into the house, I can't stand it. I hope the authorities will soon clean up, install warning signs or cameras to punish this situation," Ms. Chau said indignantly.

Recorded in Cam Le ward, vacant lots are filled with soap and household waste spilling onto the sidewalks and roads.
Not only soap, but all kinds of household waste from plastic bags, styrofoam boxes to old clothes are also thrown here.

Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of Cam Le Ward People's Committee said that the locality has received feedback about the illegal dumping of waste and debris in the vacant land area in the area. The ward will send forces to conduct field inspections and will take strict measures to handle violations if they are detected.
