Officially increase the family deduction level, applied from the 2026 tax calculation period
On October 17, 100% of members of the National Assembly Standing Committee present approved the resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee on adjusting the family deduction level of personal income tax.
According to the resolution, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to adjust the family deduction level of personal income tax as follows:
The deduction for taxpayers is 15.5 million VND/month (186 million VND/year). The deduction for each dependent is 6.2 million VND/month.
This Resolution takes effect from the date of signing and applies from the tax calculation period in 2026 (March 2027).

Bus overturns in industrial park in Khanh Hoa

The bus was traveling on an internal road in Ninh Thuy Industrial Park when it overturned.
On October 17, the leader of Dong Ninh Hoa ward, Khanh Hoa province said that at around 10:30 a.m. on October 17, a bus accident occurred in the area, but fortunately no one was injured or killed.
Previously, on the internal road in Ninh Thuy Industrial Park, Dong Ninh Hoa Ward, Quyet Thang bus with license plate 79B-024.XX, while traveling, suddenly crashed into the curb and overturned onto the sidewalk.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has just issued a notice for administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, socio-political organizations, enterprises and other employers to implement the Lunar New Year holiday schedule and National Day holiday in 2026.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of administrative agencies, public service agencies, political organizations, and socio-political organizations will have 5 days off according to regulations, including 1 day before Tet and 4 days after Tet from Monday, February 16, 2026 (ie December 29, At Ty year) to Friday, February 20, 2026 (ie January 4, Binh Ngo year). In addition, cadres and civil servants are given 4 consecutive days off a week. Thus, the public sector agency block has 9 consecutive days off.
