Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has agreed to organize low-altitude fireworks displays on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025 in Nha Trang city, Van Ninh district, Ninh Hoa town at midnight on January 28, 2025 (ie December 29, Giap Thin year).
Each locality will have 150 fireworks displays with a 15-minute display time; funding will be sponsored and socialized.
Currently, the Department of Culture and Sports will preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Military Command to guide units to organize low-altitude fireworks displays in accordance with regulations.
Also during the upcoming Tet holiday, Khanh Hoa will consider adding more beneficiaries and increasing the level of support for holidays and Tet. Accordingly, the locality is currently soliciting comments on the draft regulations on support for annual holidays and Tet.
The draft resolution adds support for 3 holidays and Tet including: Hung King's death anniversary, Southern liberation day April 30, and annual New Year's Day.
The estimated budget for implementing the support regime for 6 holidays and Tet in the year is over 242 billion VND, an increase of over 148 billion VND compared to Resolution No. 31. The funding source for implementation is from the local budget, guaranteed according to the current state budget decentralization.
The draft regulation on support regime for the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, Southern Liberation Day (April 30), International Labor Day (May 1), National Day (September 2), New Year's Day, and Lunar New Year every year in Khanh Hoa province will be considered and approved at the 6th session of the 7th Provincial People's Council, scheduled to take place in mid-December 2024. If approved, the resolution will replace Resolution No. 31/2016/NQ-HDND and will be applied from January 1, 2025.
