
Nearly 200 delegates from research and training institutions, management agencies and social organizations attended the event to clarify the central role of women in human rights education, and at the same time propose practical and policy solutions to promote gender equality and sustainable development.
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung - Director of the Academy of Finance, Head of the Organizing Committee of the workshop affirmed - Human rights are inherent basic rights and freedoms, deeply realized through education. In this journey to spread human rights values, women are not only beneficiaries but also inspirational subjects, creators and protectors, from the home of the family to the school, the community and the whole society.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung emphasized that promoting the role of women in education and human rights protection is an urgent requirement in the context of integration and sustainable development. Therefore, this workshop is not only an academic forum, but also an opportunity to exchange effective models, identify challenges, propose practical solutions to promote gender equality and expand development space for Vietnamese women.

"Vietnamese women have long been a symbol of sacrifice, resilience and intelligence, now further affirming their position in the fields of education, scientific research and management. The rate of female lecturers and education managers is increasing, in line with the National Strategy on Gender Equality for the period 20212030.
Education is considered the key to raising awareness, consolidating dignity and promoting equality. In the era of digital transformation and the industrial revolution, women need to promote their mettle and creativity to lead education and protect human rights" - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Dao Tung said.
According to Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Thieu - Deputy Director of the Academy of Finance - Education and Human Rights Protection, one of the top priority goals of the United Nations is to create a fair, equal and peaceful world.
In the context of globalization and sustainable development, the role of women is increasingly affirmed with practical contributions to education, communication, policy making and promoting human rights values.
"Vietnam has been making efforts to improve the legal system, policies and national programs on human rights, especially focusing on gender equality and the participation of women in social fields. However, in practice, there are still many challenges, requiring increased awareness, support mechanisms and development space for women in the field of education and human rights protection" - Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Thieu assessed.

One of the important highlights of the Workshop was the presentation of outstanding presentations, reflecting diverse theoretical and practical perspectives on the role of women in education and human rights protection.
Speaking at the Workshop, Dr. Duong Quoc Quan ( Academy of Finance) emphasized that gender equality is an important indicator of democracy.

According to Dr. Pham Thi Tinh (Department of People, Family and Gender) affirmed that human rights education (HRE) is a strategic and mandatory task in the process of perfecting the rule of law state. She especially emphasized the leading role of women in moral education, civil responsibility from family to school.
