On October 23, the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic Crimes, Smuggling and Environment - An Giang Provincial Police said: recently, it coordinated with the Provincial Market Management Department to inspect a number of gold and jewelry businesses in An Giang province.
Through inspection, 4 establishments selling gold, jewelry, and displaying many gold and silver products were found to have signs of infringing on industrial property rights, related to trademarks that have been protected in Vietnam. The total value of the violating exhibits is over 500 million VND.
Currently, the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic Crimes, Smuggling and Environment of the Provincial Police is coordinating with relevant functional units to continue verifying and clarifying the violations of organizations and individuals for handling according to the provisions of law.
