On January 27, Ha Nam Provincial Police informed that Chau Cau Ward Police (Phu Ly City) had just caught Tran Quang Vinh (born in 2000, residing in Thanh Nghi Commune, Thanh Liem District, Ha Nam Province) in possession of prohibited goods (explosive fireworks).
Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on January 26, the working group of Chau Cau Ward Police was patrolling and controlling Le Loi Street, Chau Cau Ward and discovered Tran Quang Vinh stopping at the entrance of alley 225 with suspicious signs.
During an administrative inspection, the police discovered that Tran Quang Vinh was in possession of 5 rectangular boxes (suspected to be firecrackers) with a total weight of 8.9 kg. During the investigation, Vinh confessed that the rectangular boxes were fireworks purchased from an unknown person for his own use.
Currently, Chau Cau Ward Police are continuing to investigate to handle the subject according to the provisions of law.
