Remains of martyrs discovered at wind power project in Quang Tri

Quang Tri - During the construction of the wind power project, the construction unit discovered a martyr's remains.

On May 21, Economic - Defense Group 337 (Military Region 4) said that it had just discovered and collected the remains of a martyr in Huong Tan commune (Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province).

Previously, a group of workers constructing a wind power project in Xa Re village (Huong Tan commune) discovered some relics suspected to be military equipment of the army.

The Martyrs' Remains Collection Team of the 337th Economic - Defense Group quickly organized verification, deployed search and proceeded to excavate a martyr's remains.

According to records, the remains were wrapped in a martyr's bag, leaving bones and 11 teeth intact. The accompanying relics include: tanks, hammocks, umbrellas, umbrellas, shirts, chess, hammocks, wallets and life allowances.

Information from the Department of Internal Affairs of Huong Hoa district said that the area where the remains were discovered was a military station and fighting area of units of Division 304, Army Corps 2 during the resistance war. Currently, the Assembly Team is expanding the search area around the above area.
