At 6:00 a.m. on August 20, Bai Dong Border Control Station, Tho Chau Border Guard Station, during patrolling and controlling the Bai Dong sea area in Bai Ngu Hamlet, Tho Chau Special Zone (An Giang Province), discovered a suspicious vehicle.
Through the inspection of the fishing boat KG-305xx-TS captained by Mr. Nguyen Van Trung (residing in Tho Chau special zone) with a set of electric shock tools. After checking, the force brought the vehicle back to anchor at Bai Dong fishing port to complete initial procedures and continue investigating and verifying the incident.
The act of using electric shock to catch not only violates the law but also destroys aquatic resources, causes imbalance between the ecosystem and seriously affects the water environment. In addition, the use of electric shock also poses a potential safety risk to the user, which can cause unfortunate accidents, even endangering their lives.
