On the morning of March 28, information from the Internal Political Security Department - Nghe An Provincial Police said that it had issued a decision to fine a local man for posting fake and untrue information on social networking platforms.

According to the police, the TikTok account named "P.T.C" posted fake photos and information about the "member" of National Assembly Delegate Truong Trong Nghia - Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation, XV.

Specifically, this account "followed" the content of the speech, mentioning the injustice in paying salaries of industries, attracting tens of thousands of likes and comments after posting.

The Internal Political Security Department - Nghe An Provincial Police has investigated and determined that this is a fake and untrue act that affects the image, honor and reputation of individual National Assembly deputies, creates conflicting and complicated public opinion, and affects security and order.

Distorted behavior and false information will be strictly handled

At the police station, Mr. H.T.B. (born in 1984, residing in Vinh City, Nghe An) - owner of the TikTok account "P.T.C" confessed that through monitoring the news, seeing the image of National Assembly Delegate Truong Trong Nghia at the National Assembly Palace, he had an " sang kien" to use the image of this person, then " post" the content himself and posted it on social media platforms, making readers think that this was the speech of the delegate.
