The Standing Committee of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee has just issued a Plan on training and fostering cadres, civil servants and public employees in 2026, to improve the quality of the cadre team, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
According to the plan, in 2026, the province will focus on training and fostering cadres in the direction of standardization, rejuvenation and specialization, associated with title standards, job position planning and the requirement to build effective two-level governments. Prioritize training of young cadres, female cadres and ethnic minority cadres with development capacity and potential.
In 2026, the province plans to train about 220 senior political theory students and more than 700 intermediate political theory students. In addition, it will open university training courses for second degrees, postgraduate training, fostering knowledge of national defense - security, fostering Party building, leadership - management skills, foreign languages - information technology, and digital skills for cadres at all levels.
The total cost of training and fostering in 2026 is estimated at about 42.4 billion VND. In which the Provincial Political School is responsible for most of the political theory training tasks; the State, the Front and socio-political organizations also organize many appropriate thematic training programs.
The Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee is assigned to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs, the Provincial Political School and relevant agencies and units to implement the plan; at the same time, inspect, supervise, and summarize the implementation results to report to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
This plan is a step to concretize Project 12-DA/TU on building a team of leaders and managers of the province in the next 5, 10 and 20 years, contributing to building a team of qualified, capable and prestigious cadres, meeting the requirements of rapid and sustainable development of Quang Ngai in the new integration period.
