The female artist held the death anniversary of the craft group at two locations: the Artist Association - Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association (Stage Team worship House) and Trinh Kim Chi Drama Theater. The ceremonies were held solemnly, attracting more artists, students and audiences than in previous years.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Theater Association - Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Artists' Friendship Committee - People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi emotionally said: "The situation of Bualoi floods in the North is becoming increasingly serious. On the occasion of this year's Ancestor's death anniversary, we decided to use all the donations and contributions from artists and philanthropists to help our compatriots. The total amount of money received is 360 million VND, of which 100 million is from the Artist's Association and 260 million is from Trinh Kim Chi stage".
Sharing more, the 1994 runner-up of Vietnam said that each year the Ancestor's death anniversary is not only an occasion to commemorate and express gratitude to the ancestors who enlightened the profession, but also an opportunity for artists to look back on their contributions. This is how we keep the passion for the profession, nurture our love for art and connect with colleagues, she said.
In addition to donating to the relief of the North Central region, in her role as Head of the Ho Chi Minh City Artist Friendship Committee, People's Artist Trinh Kim Chi also visited and presented gifts to solo artists living at the Thi Nghe Nursing Institute.
