The People's Procuracy and the People's Court of Tien Lang district (Hai Phong) have just coordinated to organize a mobile court to try a case of manufacturing banned goods.

According to the indictment No. 12/CT-VKSTL dated January 13, 2025 of the People's Procuracy of Tien Lang District: On the morning of December 16, 2024, Nguyen Ba Binh used his mobile phone to access the Youtube application to learn about the process and methods of producing firecrackers. At the same time, he contacted a stranger on the Internet to buy 6 kg of Potassium Chlorate, 4 kg of Sodium, 1.5 kg of sulfur, pre-cut paper, 30 bottles of 502 glue, 2 rolls of nylon (in the form of food wrap) to produce firecrackers to be burned on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025.

At about 9:00 a.m. on December 20, 2024, Binh received the above materials and began to make fireworks by mixing potassium chlorate, sodium, and sulfur in a ratio of 6:4:1.5. Then, Binh made the fuse (firecracker fuse) by spreading nylon on a flat surface and adding the previously mixed fireworks mixture, rolling it into a wire with a diameter of about 0.2 cm. After preparing the fireworks and the fuse, Binh proceeded to produce the finished fireworks.
