On August 15, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee informed that the Dak Lak Young Entrepreneurs Association held a ceremony to announce the merger with the old Phu Yen Young Entrepreneurs Association.
Along with that was the launching ceremony of the Dak Lak Young Entrepreneurs Association Executive Committee, term I, 2025 - 2028.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Huan - Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Young Entrepreneurs Association - announced the decision of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee to allow the merger of the two associations.
This event marks an important step forward in connecting the strength and potential of young entrepreneurs in the two provinces.
In the first 6 months of 2025, although in the process of merging, both associations still maintained active activities.
Phu Yen Young Entrepreneurs Association has 155 members, has organized many exchange programs and participated in social security activities.
The Dak Lak Young Entrepreneurs Association with 165 members also maintains many rich activities such as "Enterprise Coffee - Connecting and Sharing", along with trade promotion programs.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Cong Doan - Vice President of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association - said: "This combination will open a new stage of development, where the strengths of the two localities will be resonated. Dak Lak has the potential for agriculture and eco-tourism, while Phu Yen is outstanding with its marine economy and processing industry, which will create a diverse and rich economic space".
The Executive Committee of the new Provincial Young Entrepreneurs Association needs to focus on building a strong organization in terms of quality and diversifying the members. At the same time, it is necessary to organize training activities to improve corporate governance capacity and support start-ups for young people, Mr. Doan emphasized.
The motto of action of the Dak Lak Young Entrepreneurs Association for the 2025 - 2028 term is: Dak Lak Young Entrepreneurs unite, create, and develop. To achieve this, the association will focus on strengthening the organization, improving the capacity of members in the digital age, while promoting trade and investment promotion.
The Association also commits to actively contributing to local policy making, organizing cultural and sports activities to connect young entrepreneurs.
At the same time, supporting startups, innovation for young people and building corporate brands are also important contents in the association's action program.
