In order to improve the effectiveness of educational activities and protect children during the summer, the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province has issued a document requesting affiliated units to strengthen management and organization of safe and healthy summer activities for students in the area.
Accordingly, vocational training institutions are required to organize for students to participate in summer volunteer programs associated with professional tasks and social work such as supporting high school admission, participating in the 2025 high school graduation exam, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, protecting the environment, responding to climate change and taking care of social security.
A new point in this year's summer plan is the implementation of the "digital crop education" movement.
Students will participate in supporting people, especially in remote areas, in using computers, smartphones, accessing the Internet, safe social networks and essential software for life.
The Department of Education and Training also directs units to closely coordinate with the police, health forces and local social organizations to propagate and educate the law to students. The propaganda content includes preventing social evils, high-tech crimes, drugs, traffic safety and other violations of the law.
Schools need to regularly inspect and supervise volunteer activities to ensure compliance with goals and content, while absolutely ensuring the safety of students throughout the participation process. The results of summer activities will be included in the training process of students during the school year and the entire course.
At the same time, the work of receiving and handing over students for summer activities in the locality is also focused on. Summer activities need to be organized to ensure safety, health, and efficiency, encourage students to participate in sports clubs, develop personal talents and interests.
Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training also noted the need to instruct students and children to exploit social networks safely, while promoting the harmful effects of unhealthy online games. School violence prevention, crime prevention, swimming lessons and drowning prevention for children need to be strongly strengthened.
In addition, units are required to disseminate knowledge of nurturing, caring for and educating preschool children to parents and caregivers, contributing to creating a comprehensive development environment for children during the summer.
