On November 16, the Library Department coordinated with the Department of Party and Political Affairs to donate more than 600 books to Lam Dong Provincial Police. Thereby, contributing to the development of reading culture and library work at the unit.

This event is part of the conference to review 5 years of implementing the Library Law in Da Lat city.
Director of the Library Department Kieu Thuy Nga shared: “I am very impressed with the results that Lam Dong Provincial Police have achieved in promoting reading culture and developing libraries.
Through activities such as the "Reading Culture Ambassador" contest, the unit has affirmed a positive spirit and spread the reading movement among the police force.
I hope that in the coming time, Lam Dong Provincial Police will continue to respond to programs launched by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Public Security, building a reading culture as a sustainable value."
Within the framework of the program, the delegation surveyed library activities, built the "Ho Chi Minh Bookshelf" and directly presented books about the Party, President Ho Chi Minh... to the Lam Dong Provincial Police Library and a number of grassroots units.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Thang expressed: "We appreciate the attention of the Library Department and Department X03. Valuable books about the Party, President Ho Chi Minh... not only improve knowledge but also support the professional work of the force."
The event is a stepping stone to promote the reading movement in the police force, towards building a sustainable reading culture.
