On October 18, the People's Committee of Tu Minh Ward held a meeting to assess the progress of the National Highway 5 Assembly Road Project. Attending were representatives of the Tay Hai Phong and Hai Duong Construction Investment Project Management Board, infrastructure units such as Hai Phong Telecommunications, Cam Giang Electricity, Hai Duong Clean Water Joint Stock Company, and consulting organizations and representatives of residential groups.
At the meeting, the Ward People's Committee assessed the overall progress of the project, clarified the remaining difficulties and proposed specific solutions to speed up the survey, status check, and complete legal documents for site clearance (GPMB).
The leader of the Ward People's Committee emphasized that this is a key infrastructure project, which is important for connecting traffic, reducing the load on National Highway 5, promoting the socio-economic development of the ward and neighboring areas.

The Ward People's Committee requested the Land Acquisition Council and specialized units to closely coordinate with residential groups, step up propaganda so that people can agree to hand over the site.
The project has a total reclaimed area of 19,972.5 m2, involving 55 households and 3 enterprises. The inventory work has been completed and is currently being submitted to the Ward Compensation, Support and Resettlement Council.
However, the project still has some problems such as: not completing legal documents on technical infrastructure ( telecommunications, electricity), difficulties in verifying the land origin of some households and land areas outside the project boundary.
The Ward People's Committee requested relevant units to carefully review the dossier, complete the compensation plan in accordance with regulations, and ensure publicity and transparency.
