The Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province has just signed Decision No. 1334/QD-UBND approving the Project to attract investment projects to build unmanned aerial vehicles and equipment (UAV) factories and develop a low-level economy.
The Thai Nguyen Department of Finance is assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to implement the Project, advise on the development of an Implementation Plan and synthesize and periodically report the implementation results to the Provincial People's Committee.
The goal for the second quarter of 2025 is to identify the UAV production supply chain in particular and related industries in the low-level economic situation in general. Develop and promulgate a Plan to implement the Project and documents to promote investment in low-level economic development.
Currently, Thai Nguyen province is promoting the development of science and technology, innovation, digital transformation, and the development of information technology (IT) industry with the Yen Binh Concentrated IT Park Project. This is an area with favorable conditions to attract investment projects in UAV equipment manufacturing plants.
