In the bustling and warm atmosphere of the early days of Binh Ngo Spring 2026, the Da Nang Museum organizes an activity to welcome the first visitor to visit and pick lucky buds at the beginning of the year, opening a series of programs serving the public during the Lunar New Year.

On the 1st day of the Lunar New Year, at all 3 museum facilities, a large number of people and tourists were present early to enjoy spring, visit and record the first moments of the new year. The museum space is decorated with brilliant spring colors, creating a solemn but still close and warm atmosphere.
The activity of welcoming the first visitor of the new year has a profound symbolic meaning, expressing the beauty of traditional culture "opening spring - opening fortune", sending wishes for a year of peace, prosperity, many successes and breakthroughs. Representatives of the museum presented souvenirs and New Year wishes to the first visitor and his family, as a thank you and spring blessings.
In addition, the New Year's fortune picking program and the check-in space "Spring Path Sends Wishes" attract many young people, families and tourists to participate. Wishes written and hung on the spring tree not only express personal desires but also spread the spirit of optimism and hope in the first days of the new year.
According to the Da Nang Museum, the organization of this activity not only creates a highlight for cultural tourism during Tet but also contributes to affirming the role of the museum system as an attractive destination, a place to preserve and spread the unique historical and cultural values of Da Nang city in particular and the nation in general.

The program is organized simultaneously at 3 facilities including: Da Nang Museum (31 Tran Phu, Hai Chau Ward); Da Nang Museum of Fine Arts (78 Le Duan, Hai Chau Ward) and Da Nang Museum - Site 2 (281 Phan Boi Chau, Ban Thach Ward).
During the 2026 Lunar New Year, all 3 facilities will open normally and offer free entrance tickets on the 1st day of Tet for all visitors. Da Nang Museum and Da Nang Fine Arts Museum are open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily; Da Nang Museum - Facility 2 is open in the morning from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and in the afternoon from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
The activity of welcoming visitors at the beginning of the year is not only a meaningful spring travel destination but also an opportunity for the museum to send deep gratitude to the public who have always accompanied and supported them throughout the past time, and at the same time contribute to enriching the spiritual and cultural life of city residents during the traditional Tet holidays.
