On September 8, Son My Commune Police, Lam Dong Province, said they were clarifying the case of illegal possession of drugs, organizing illegal use of drugs and theft of property.
Previously, while patrolling to ensure security and order in the Be Mountain area, Co Kieu village, the working group of Son My Commune Police discovered 2 subjects with suspicious signs.
When asked to stop the vehicle for inspection, both of them did not comply and accelerated to run away. The police force immediately chased and successfully controlled it.
Searching on the spot, the working group seized a plastic bag containing crystals suspected to be drugs. Through the struggle, the subject gave his name as P.N.A (born in 1992) and admitted that he, H.V.T (born in 1982) and another subject named T.T (born in 1982, living in Ho Chi Minh City) used drugs at a nearby farm.
Searching the fields, the police seized an additional small scale of glass, a package of crystalline drugs suspected of crystal meth and many drug use tools.
The investigation expanded, the subjects also confessed to stealing a motorbike from a resident in Son My commune. Currently, Son My Commune Police are expanding the investigation to handle the subjects according to the law.
