On December 16, the Binh Duong Provincial Electronic Information Portal reported that the Provincial People's Committee had just held a meeting to prepare for the commendation and reward of typical citizens of the province in 2024 and the New Year celebration program associated with the 28th anniversary of the founding of Binh Duong province (January 1, 1997 - January 1, 2025).
In the near future, the province will organize activities to welcome the New Year, including: Organizing "Binh Duong Culture - Cuisine - Tourism Week" in 2024; "Welcome New Year 2025" Cross-country race; ceremony to honor outstanding collectives and individuals in 2024 associated with awarding prizes for the Binh Duong province identity design contest.
In particular, on the evening of December 31, 2024, there will be an art program combined with fireworks to welcome the new year 2025 (expected from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m.) in the central area of Binh Duong New City.
In addition, the province organized activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), including: Visiting senior party members and learning about the activities of grassroots party organizations; visiting the Martyrs' Cemetery; meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam; organizing groundbreaking and inauguration ceremonies, handing over investment approval decisions and investment registration certificates for key projects and works.
Binh Duong province's electronic information portal reported that at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units and localities to focus on reviewing all related work, preparing carefully and scientifically to successfully organize the anniversary activities to create a vibrant competitive atmosphere throughout the political system and people.
Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha suggested that the organization of commemorative days must be associated with launching gratitude movements. Implement practical activities to care for and improve the material and spiritual life of the people and policy beneficiaries.
Regarding the activities of commending and rewarding typical citizens of the province in 2024, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with departments and branches to review and consider proposing truly typical individuals for commendation.
