Quang Binh - More than 150m of invisible bird trapping nets have just been discovered, recovered and destroyed by the authorities of Hong Thuy commune.

On December 28, Quang Binh Provincial Police said that Hong Thuy Commune Police (Le Thuy District) and the Commune People's Committee had confiscated and destroyed many meters of invisible bird trapping nets.

Authorities conducted an inspection and discovered that local people had set up invisible nets to catch wild birds. During the inspection, the commune police confiscated and destroyed more than 150 meters of invisible bird nets.

This action is part of the efforts of the government and functional forces to protect wildlife and maintain ecological balance in the area. At the same time, the Commune Police also reminded people about environmental protection awareness and compliance with laws related to wildlife protection.

Setting up invisible nets to hunt wild birds is illegal, endangers wildlife and destroys their habitat.

Hong Thuy Commune Police will continue to strengthen inspection, supervision and strictly handle violations, in order to protect biodiversity and maintain a healthy living environment for the community.
