Emulation Cluster No. 12, consisting of 5 provinces (Kien Giang, An Giang, Hau Giang, Ca Mau and Bac Lieu), has just held a conference to summarize the emulation movement "For National Security" in 2024 in Kien Giang.
Thoroughly grasping the Resolution of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the Directive of the Minister of Public Security, the Party Committees and the Boards of Directors of the Public Security of 5 provinces have led and directed the Public Security forces in Emulation Cluster No. 12 to concretize the Resolution and work plan for 2024. Proactively coordinate with all levels, sectors and localities to advise Party committees and authorities, effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws and the tasks and solutions of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee on ensuring security and order; effectively handle emerging issues, avoid being passive and surprised.
After 11 months of implementing the emulation movement "For the security of the Fatherland", the Police of Emulation Cluster No. 12 has made great efforts to organize and implement drastic and effective solutions to ensure security, order, Party building, force building and the movement to protect the security of the Fatherland. Thereby contributing to maintaining and stabilizing political security, social order and safety, effectively serving the development of the local economy and society.
The Party Committees and the Boards of Directors of the Public Security of the provinces in the Cluster have closely followed the viewpoints, goals, and tasks of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, and the Party Committees and authorities. They have focused on developing and implementing programs, plans, and deciding on specific targets for each field to direct the Public Security at all levels to thoroughly grasp and implement, especially the three breakthrough tasks in 2024.
Proactively grasp the situation, advise and propose to the Party Committee and the government to promptly resolve and stabilize complicated cases right at the grassroots level, avoiding unexpected passiveness. Synchronously deploy working measures, launch many high-point attacks, strongly suppress all types of crimes and violations of the law, resolutely direct the investigation and discovery of cases, reaching an overall rate of 85.4% (exceeding the target by 10.4%). The fight against corruption and negative practices is focused on, the number of cases detected and prosecuted increases, and the rate of recovery of damaged assets is high.
Party building, force building, and logistics work have been strengthened, the rate of cadres who have committed violations and been disciplined has been controlled and reduced compared to the same period in 2023. The emulation movement has been launched and spread widely; focusing on training and promoting positive factors, good people, good deeds... Thereby, creating a vibrant and exciting emulation atmosphere to help cadres and soldiers strive to fulfill their assigned tasks well, receiving the consensus, support, and high appreciation from all levels, sectors, and the people.
At the conference, representatives of the units discussed the limitations, proposed solutions to overcome difficulties and limitations, and shared good and creative ways of implementing the movement "For National Security" in the localities.
Colonel Nguyen Van Han, Director of Kien Giang Provincial Police, handed over the responsibility of the 2025 Emulation Cluster Leader to An Giang Provincial Police and Deputy Cluster Leader to Ca Mau Provincial Police.
