On the night of July 25, immediately after receiving information that trees on many urban roads had fallen, the functional forces of Buon Ma Thuot city were "on duty" at the scene to direct the work of overcoming the problem.
Thereby, in order to minimize the insecurity of the power grid, pedestrians may collide with fallen trees and be injured. In addition, the authorities also trimmed the branches of some trees at risk of breaking to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.

"Immediately after this incident, the City People's Committee will request Dak Lak Urban and Environment Joint Stock Company to conduct a comprehensive review of trees at risk of being uprooted and broken during rain and wind to limit them to the lowest level. Similar cases may occur," the leader of Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee added.
As Lao Dong informed, on the evening of July 25, on the roads of Buon Ma Thuot urban area such as Mai Hac De, Le Duan, Nguyen Van Cu, Mac Thi Buoi, there were continuous incidents of broken and fallen trees.
Among them, there was an incident where a tree broke and fell on Le Duan Street, hitting a pedestrian. The victim was hit by a broken tree branch and could not escape.
Nearby people brought knives and machetes and actively coordinated with the authorities to cut down trees and take the victims to the emergency room.
On Mai Hac De Street, a star tree had its top broken, hitting a tram driven by a woman moving on the road. Luckily, no one was injured in this incident.
During the night, the functional forces of Dak Lak Provincial Police sent dozens of officers to the scene to help clean up broken and fallen trees, ensuring traffic safety for pedestrians.
