Awarding more than 12,000 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in Lao Cai

    Lao Cai - Since the beginning of the year, the provincial Social Insurance has awarded more than 12,000 health insurance cards to people in difficult and disadvantaged circumstances.

    On December 11, Lao Cai Social Insurance organized the presentation of 100 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in Yen Binh commune.

    Two days earlier, Lao Cai Social Insurance also coordinated with units, businesses and local authorities to present 1,445 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in Dong Cuong, Mau A, Xuan Ai, Lam Giang and Tan Hop communes.

    The leader of Lao Cai Social Insurance shared that in 2025, the province was allocated 5,113 health insurance cards from the central support source. Along with local mobilization resources, since the beginning of the year, the whole province has awarded more than 12,000 health insurance cards to people in difficult and disadvantaged circumstances.

    Each health insurance card, although not large in material aspects, is a feeling of sharing and warm care to make people feel more secure in taking care of their health.
