"I never dare to think about a gift. Today is an unforgettable memory in my life, as well as our entire family, when witnessing Dieu Anh being extremely happy to receive this meaningful gift" - these are the messages that Dieu Anh's grandmother in Dong Anh Hanoi sent to the charity group, when she was given a wheelchair.
During 2 days (February 15 - 16, 2025), a group of volunteer students from the rotaract Club of Chuo Hiep University, through the connection and support of the Vietnam - Japan International Exchange Organization (FAVIJI) donated 10 wheelchairs and necessities, cash to disabled children of the Vietnam Association of families of children and people with cerebral palsy (CPFAV).
The delegation went to directly present to a number of families of young people with disabilities in Dong Anh district (Hanoi), Kien Xuong district (Thai Binh)... and directly presented to families of young people with cerebral palsy from Tuyen Quang, Phu Tho, Thai Binh, Nam Dinh provinces... at the CPFAV general association headquarters in Hanoi.
Ms. Dinh Thi Lan Anh, Chairman of CPFAV, said that this wheelchair donation program is an activity within the framework of the project "ets the floor" since the new Association was established.
Most parents who receive wheelchairs for their children have been unable to contain their emotions, expressing gratitude for the sympathy and sharing of love from the community. There were tears falling from happiness while the children smiled innocently when they first sat on the strange wheelchairs they had just received.

Mr. Kobayashi Hiroki - Head of the International Committee of the rotaract Club of Chuo University, Japan said that the Club is a group of students participating in community activities, developing leadership skills and building professional skills. Through research, the club learned that many people in Vietnam need wheelchairs but cannot have them and are having difficulty in daily life.
With the introduction and connection from the Vietnam - Japan International Exchange Organization (FAVIJA), the Club has adjusted the wheelchair size to suit each user to realize the plan to bring 10 wheelchairs to Vietnam.
We hope that with these 10 wheelchairs assembled to a suitable size, it will bring convenience, comfort, and added value to happiness for users. We hope that in the coming time, we can continue to expand this charity plan and make every effort for the project to bring joy and happiness to people with disabilities in Vietnam.
Every month, FAVIJA regularly organizes free wheelchairs donation rounds for Vietnamese people with disabilities. This is the 3rd time FAVIJA has organized a charity wheel arrangement for CPFAV. In the coming time, FAVIJA will continue to strive to promote its bridging role in calling on Japanese charitable organizations to donate wheelchairs for free to improve the pho thonglization of wheelchairs for Vietnamese people with disabilities, especially for families in difficult circumstances - Mr. Do Quang Ba, Chairman of FAVIJA said.
