On August 2, Rach Gia Ward Police (An Giang Province) said that through the work of grasping the situation, they had previously discovered a number of subjects gathering to gamble in the form of cockfighting for money, causing disorder in Group 12, Thong Chu Quarter. Rach Gia Ward Police quickly deployed forces to approach the scene and organized the destruction of the above gambling den.
At the scene, the evidence collected over 50 million VND, 2 chickens, 4 iron born trees and many items related to gambling activities.
Through initial investigation, this gathering place was organized by N.K.D (born in 1993) and T.V.T (born in 1984) residing in Rach Gia ward for the subjects to come close to the fine, to get commissions.
Currently, Rach Gia Ward Police continue to investigate and clarify the handling of the subjects according to the provisions of the law.
