At about 4:30 p.m. on July 22, at the private home of Vu Van Phuong (born in 1991, in Thai Hung village, Chan Hung commune), the Working Group of Chan Hung Commune Police discovered and caught a group of subjects illegally using drugs.
Related subjects include: Vu Van Phuong, Doan Van Binh (born in 1991); Vu Van Thanh (born in 1995); Nguyen Van Thinh (born in 1997); Bui Van Tan (born in 1995, all in Chan Hung commune, Hai Phong city). The seized evidence included a set of drug use tools and related evidence. The results of the drug test results of the suspected samples and the subjects all tested positive for drugs (Methamphetamine). On the same day, Doan Van Thuy (born in 1990, living in the same commune) also went to Chan Hung Commune Police to surrender.
The Investigation Police Agency of Hai Phong City Police has issued decisions to prosecute criminal cases, prosecute defendants, apply temporary detention measures against Phuong, Binh, Thanh and Thuy for the crime of "Organizing illegal use of drugs"; prosecute and temporarily detain Bui Van Tan for the crime of "Illegal trading of drugs". Currently, the case is being further investigated by the Investigation Police Agency of Hai Phong City Police.
