In July 2025, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province decided to merge a series of district-level land fund development centers in the province and a unit from Ninh Thuan province into the Khanh Hoa Land Fund Development Center. This unit is allowed to have a complete organizational structure including 1 Director and no more than 3 Deputy Directors.
Accordingly, Khanh Hoa Land Fund Development Center will receive the organizational status, personnel, assets, finances... from seven district-level land fund development centers including: Dien Khanh, Khanh Vinh, Khanh Son, Cam Lam, Van Ninh, Cam Ranh city, Ninh Hoa town; together with the Land Fund Development Department under the Ninh Thuan Province Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development Project Management Board.
Khanh Hoa Land Fund Development Center is a public service unit under the Provincial People's Committee, with legal status, its own seal and account to operate in accordance with the provisions of law.
The Center has the function of managing, establishing and implementing projects to create land funds to organize land use rights auctions; developing compensation, support and resettlement plans when the State reclaims land; developing land price lists and determining specific land prices according to requirements.
At the same time, implement projects to create land funds to serve land policies for ethnic minorities.
In addition, the center also has the function of organizing investment in developing resettlement land funds; conducting land use rights auctions; short-term leasing of land plots assigned for management; providing services in the fields of compensation, support, resettlement and measurement, maps.
The organizational structure of the center includes one Director, no more than three Deputy Directors and five professional and technical departments.
The center director is responsible for receiving all functions, tasks and personnel organization from the merged units; at the same time, developing an organization plan, rearranging the apparatus, allocating staff, reviewing job positions and professional title structures in accordance with current regulations.
The merger and consolidation of the Khanh Hoa Land Fund Development Center aims to streamline the apparatus, improve the efficiency of land management, better serve land acquisition, socio-economic development and implementation of land policies in the locality.
