On August 17, the People's Committee of Hoan Lao commune (Quang Tri province) said that a traffic accident had just occurred, causing congestion on National Highway 1.
According to initial information, at around 3:30 p.m. the same day, the truck and car collided at the Hoan Lao intersection.
The incident did not cause any human casualties, however, the incident caused National Highway 1 through Hoan Lao commune to be congested for nearly 2km in the North - South direction.
Immediately after the incident, the authorities were present at the scene to direct traffic, relieve congestion and investigate the cause of the incident.
