Speaking at the opening speech of the Party Committee Congress, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Secretary of the Party Committee, Principal of the Interdisciplinary Science and Arts School said that the last term, the school has had many innovations and achieved outstanding achievements in the work from training, scientific research and international cooperation to the Party building work. The spirit of solidarity, dynamism and creativity of the collective of cadres, party members, lecturers and students is the core element that creates those results.
However, comrade Nguyen Van Hieu also frankly pointed out new challenges, especially requirements for higher education innovation, international integration and digital transformation. In this context, the Congress is responsible for comprehensive evaluation of the results of the 2020-2025 term, clearly defining the directions and strategic tasks for the period of 2025 - 2030, and at the same time elected the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the new term with the highest sense of responsibility.
The outstanding results in the 2020-2025 term have affirmed the comprehensive and close leadership role of the Party Committee of the Interdisciplinary Science and the Arts School in building and developing the school. The 5th Congress is an important milestone, continuing to arouse the desire to innovate, develop sustainably and enhance the position of the school in the new period.
The Congress determined the general goal in the term of 2025 - 2030: The Party Committee of the Interdisciplinary Science and Arts School, will set a goal towards the interdisciplinary science school that will become a member educational institution of VNU training and interdisciplinary research, focusing on cultural, creative and artistic fields, important premises to make the school into a reputable university educational institution with high -ranking high -ranking scientific, high -ranking scientific education industry and art in the world in 2045.
To realize this goal, the school Party Committee sets a number of key tasks and the main targets: focusing on the development of lecturers, this will be the core platform for the development of the school in the coming time. These are the important foundations to build the future of the school, contributing to the common mission of VNU-UghN, aiming to meet high-quality human resources for the country in the fields of interdisciplinary science, creativity and arts in the coming time.
In addition, at the Congress, delegates elected the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Interdisciplinary School of Science and Arts, term V, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 5 comrades; elected a delegation to attend the 7th National University Congress of the Vietnam National University Party Committee.
