On April 28, in Phu Quoc City, Kien Giang Province, the Party Committee of Coast Guard Region 4 held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
In the period of 2016 - 2025, the Party Committee of Coast Guard Region 4 and Party committees and Party organizations at all levels in the entire Party Committee of the Region have focused on leading and implementing the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style to ensure strictness, seriousness, practicality, and efficiency, contributing to building clean, strong, exemplary Party organizations, a comprehensively strong unit "exemplary, exemplary", successfully completing all assigned tasks.
Through studying and following Uncle Ho, many good models and effective methods have appeared, specifically: good Party Cell 4 model, exemplary Party members performing 5 responsibilities in the Region Party Committee; model of Compassionate Supplement of the Women's Union of the Region Command for patients in difficult circumstances at Phu Quoc City Medical Center... Thereby, contributing to actively spreading the image and good qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers - Coast Guard soldiers.
From the practical implementation of Directive 05 of the Politburo, it has created a positive and comprehensive change in the results of completing the tasks of the Regional Command as well as the agencies and units.
Over the past 10 years, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command has been awarded 1 Second Class Medal of Merit; 1 Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal; 5 times the Ministry of National Defense and the Coast Guard Command have awarded the Flag of the leading unit in the Emulation Movement for Victory; nearly 700 collectives and 1,900 individuals have been awarded at all levels.
Concluding the Conference, Major General Nguyen Van Dung, Party Committee Secretary - Political Commissar of the Regional Command, acknowledged and commended the outstanding results that Party committees, Party organizations as well as all cadres, Party members and the masses in the entire Party Committee and the Regional Command have achieved in 10 years of implementing Directive 05.
The Party Secretary requested that Party committees and organizations at all levels continue to do a good job of disseminating, educating, raising awareness and responsibility for cadres and soldiers about the position, significance and importance of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style in the new period.
Research, explore, apply good, creative, and effective ways of doing things so that learning and following Uncle Ho does not stop at awareness but must be concretized by the most specific and practical actions. At the Conference, the Coast Guard Region 4 Command awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with good achievements in 10 years of implementing Directive 050.
