Commune in Da Nang processes nearly 500 citizen identification records in one day

Da Nang - Thang Dien Commune Police coordinated with the Department of National Highway Police on Social Insurance to organize the issuance of ID cards and level 2 electronic identification authentication right in the locality.

Aiming at the model of "Government serving the People", Thang Dien Commune Police (Da Nang City) has coordinated with the Mobile ID card issuance Team - Department of Administrative Management Police for Social Order of the City Police to organize the issuance of ID cards and level 2 electronic identification authentication right at the commune headquarters, creating maximum favorable conditions for people in handling administrative procedures.

As early as the morning of July 21, hundreds of people were present at the headquarters of Thang Dien Commune Police as scheduled. Thanks to people registering for the order number online on the Ministry of Public Security's Public Service Portal, the process of receiving and processing documents is carried out in order, quickly, without jostling or waiting for long.

Pham Van Tin, residing in Ke Xuyen 2 village, shared: "I heard the announcement that my mother and I registered online to book an appointment so I could get an ID card. The police guided and supported my child to complete the procedures very quickly, I felt very secure, and in a few days I had an ID card to apply for admission."

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong, a resident of An Thanh 2 village, emotionally said: "In the past, to get a passport, you had to go to the administrative center, which was very difficult. Now that I can work right at home and also receive enthusiastic support from the police, I feel very satisfied".

Thang Dien commune has just been established with a population of more than 42,000 people - one of the most populous areas of the city. The implementation of issuing on-site electronic identification cards and identification not only meets the urgent needs of the people but also contributes to reducing the pressure on higher-level administrative units.

During the day, nearly 500 cases of electronic identification and identification procedures were successfully received and handled".
