On October 4, in the bustling atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tra On commune coordinated with benefactors to organize the "Full Moon Festival" program at Tra On Primary School, successfully welcoming the 1st Vinh Long Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Attending were Mr. Nguyen Van Trang - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of the commune; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Khang - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune; along with leaders of departments, branches, unions, teachers and more than 1,300 students from all levels of primary school.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Trang said that this is a meaningful activity, both creating joy for children in the Mid-Autumn Festival and an opportunity to celebrate the success of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee for the first time, term 2025 - 2030.
At the program, children listened to the commune leaders read the President's Mid-Autumn Festival greeting letter, expressing affection and encouragement to them to be fruitful, study well, listen to teachers and parents, actively practice health, preserve national cultural identity and become useful citizens for their homeland and country.
The program was exciting with many attractive activities such as skits, fruit tray displays, lion and fireworks dances, exchanges with Uncle Cuoi and Ms. Hang, along with special performances and traditional martial arts performances.
More than 1,300 students received lanterns, moon cakes, printed cakes, side cakes, sticky rice cakes, fresh milk and many other candy, with a total cost of over 130 million VND directly sponsored by benefactors.
The 2025 Full Moon Festival program has brought a warm and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival space, helping children experience, learn, connect, and at the same time preserve the traditional cultural values of the nation.
